Install on your phone or computer

You can install Astrodamus like a regular app, straight from the browser, with no app store involved. The installed app opens in its own window, lands on the Today screen, and can send morning notifications.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open astrodamus.net.
2. Tap ⋮ at the top right.
3. Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

1. Open astrodamus.net in Safari.
2. Tap Share (the square with an arrow).
3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”, then “Add”.

Computer (Chrome, Edge)

An install icon (a monitor with an arrow) appears at the right end of the address bar. Click it and confirm.

Offline

After the first visit the app keeps a copy of itself, the ephemeris and the atlas. Sections you've already opened keep working without a connection: you can build charts and read forecasts. Signing in, syncing charts and downloading new minor planets need the internet.

Uninstall

Like any app: long-press the icon and choose Remove (phone), or “Uninstall Astrodamus” from the app window's menu (computer). Charts saved to your profile stay there.
