Antiscia Pro

A planet's antiscion is its mirror image across the Cancer–Capricorn axis (the solstice axis). Days at the two points are equally long. The contra-antiscion mirrors across the Aries–Libra axis.

The table

For each planet: position, antiscion and contra-antiscion. Below it, “Mirror conjunctions with natal points (1°)” lists cases where one planet's mirror lands within 1° of another planet or an angle. Classical astrologers like Lilly read this hidden link almost like a conjunction.

Example: 10° Taurus mirrors to 20° Leo, and its contra-antiscion falls at 20° Aquarius.

Mirror ring on the wheel

  1. Open “More”.
  2. Choose “Antiscia” or “Contra-antiscia” in “Forecast”.
  3. Click “Build chart”.

A ring of mirrored planets appears around the natal chart, with aspects to natal at a 1° orb. No forecast date is needed. You can add the same ring through “Extra rings” (Multi-ring charts).
